12-day program

Day 1: Arrival in Yerevan and transfer to the hotel.


Day 2: City Tour

Visiting museums: Museum of History, Matenadaran - Institute of Ancient Manuscripts, Paradjanov Museum, etc.


Day 3: Yerevan - Khor Virap - Noravank - Goris

Khor-Virap, the first Christian monastery in Armenia, Areni wine factory, wine and chesse tasting, medieval monastery of Noravank (13th century), Karahunj, ancient observatory (2nd millennium BC), city of Goris.


Day 4: Goris - Tatev - Selim - Noraduz - Sevan

Devil's Bridge, the result of a slow accumulation of limestone deposited by water, Tatev monastery (9th century), the pearl of Armenian medieval architecture, Caravanserai of Selim (14th century), cemetery of Noradouz with 700 khachkars ("Cross Stone"), Lake Sevan (at 2000m); Peninsula with the monastery of Sevanavank (9th to 13th centuries).

OPTIONAL: To Tatev by the ropeway, recognized by the Guinness World Record as the longest ropeway in the world with a length of 5.7 km.


Day 5: Sevan - Dilijan - Goshavank - Haghartsin - Dzoraget

City of Dilijan, a beautiful resort and spa, Old Dilijan, Goshavank Monastery (12th to 13th centuries), monastic complex of Haghartsin (11th to 13th centuries), Dzoraget.


Day 6: Dzoraget - Sanahin - Haghpat - Tbilisi

Haghpat and Sanahin monasteries, World Heritage of UNESCO; Odzoun basilica and the monument with two tomb steles (5th to 6th centuries). Passage of the Armenian-Georgian border, arrival in Tbilisi, religious and historical sites in the old town: Fortress Narikala (4th century), Metekhi Church (12th to 13th century), Sulfur bath (17th century), Sioni Cathedral (6th to 7th century), Cathedral of the Holy Trinity (2004), etc.


Day 7: Jvari Monastery (6th century), the cultural heritage of UNESCO Mtskheta, former capital of Georgia located at the confluence of two rivers; Svetiskhoveli Cathedral (11th century), the cultural heritage of UNESCO, cave site of Uplistsikhe (1st millennium BC), town of Gori, birthplace of Joseph Stalin.


Day 8: "Military Road" through the neck of Jvari 2395m, Kazbegi, short hike of 2 hours; Guergueti Trinity Church; Ananuri fortress (16th century), Tbilisi.


Day 9: Tbilisi - Haghpat-Sanahin - Odzun - Dzoraget

Crossing the Georgian-Armenian border, Haghpat and Sanahin monasteries, World Heritage of UNESCO, Odzoun basilica and the monument with two tomb steles (5th to 6th centuries), Dzoraget.


Day 10: Yerevan - Garni - Geghard - Yerevan

Monastery of Geghard (9th to 13th centuries), a UNESCO World Heritage pagan temple of Garni - a Hellenistic unique monument, Yerevan, Armenian Brandy Factory "Ararat", visit and wine degustation.


Day 11: Yerevan - Echmiadzin - Zvartnots - Yerevan

Cathedral Echmiadzin, residence of Armenian Catholicos, the ruins of the cathedral of Zvartnots (7th century), Museum and Memorial of the Armenian Genocide, Vernissage.


Day 12: Transfer to Zvartnots airport, departure.
